PERSONAL CARE

Personal care refers to support and/or supervision with activities of daily living. Our licensed in Home care professionals  (also known as home health aides) make it possible for seniors and disabled adults to age at home while living with a physical disability or chronic health condition.  This type of care may include assistance with personal actives such as hygiene, dressing and medication management dependent on state regulatory guidelines.  

What is Personal Care?

One of the most common in-home care is Personal Care.  Typically this type of care is meant for seniors with chronic health conditions, physical disabilities or complications with mobility. Southern home Oasis can develop a care plan customized to your needs that includes physical safety and wellbeing. Our goal is to help our clients have a better quality of life while maintaining their independence at home.

Personal Hygiene

With personal Hygiene consistency is important.  Being able to bathe on a daily basis is critical to staying healthy. As we age out immune system response slower which increases your risk of getting sick especially if introduces to unhygienic conditions

Dressing

Because of age and/or chronic illness & disabilities for many seniors getting dressed can be a task. Most disabled adults want to maintain their dignity by dressing on their own. Personal caregivers are available to help and step in when needed.
